Haryana CM approves 6 new projects worth Rs 98 cr

Chandigarh, February 2

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today approved six new projects worth Rs 98 crore under the Rural Augmentation & Mahagram schemes in Charkhi Dadri and Bhiwani districts.

These projects will be implemented by the Public Health Engineering Department.

An official spokesperson said works under the Mahagram Yojana include augmentation of water supply scheme in Bhiwani’s Bapora village that includes repair of existing water works, two boosting stations and laying distribution pipelines at an estimated cost of Rs 17.86 crore, ensuring sewerage facility and sewage treatment plant at an estimated cost of Rs 27.25 crore.

Works under the rural augmentation programme include renovation and up-gradation of water supply scheme, laying of DI pipeline in Bhiwani’s Alakhpura village at an estimated cost of Rs 7.86 crore, renovation of water supply scheme in two group of villages of Ghikada and Charkhi Dadri by constructing RCC tank and other structures at an estimated cost of Rs 5.09 crore, renovation of existing structures at waterworks and laying the balance pipelines at Balali village, Charkhi Dadri at an estimated cost of Rs 1.60 crore, and replacement of water supply pipeline at Gudana village, Charkhi Dadri at an estimated cost of Rs 39 lakh.
