The 12-feet wide roads will ensure smoother traffic access for residents in the hilly region.
Presiding over a review meeting with officials of the Public Works and Forest Departments, the CM directed that work begin promptly after obtaining the mandatory NOC from the Forest Department. He said, “Constructing roads in the hilly villages of Morni and Kalka will significantly improve mobility for residents and open new avenues for development in the region. The locals will soon be relieved of the difficulties caused by unpaved roads.”
Saini emphasised strict adherence to timelines and quality standards. “Any compromise on quality will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Strict action will be taken against anyone responsible for delays,” he warned.
The CM also ordered early construction on other Panchkula roads including Thapali Badisher–Koti (1.68 km), Pinjore Mallah–Mangniwala (1.20 km), and Gobindpur–Thathar (5.35 km). Road strengthening and widening projects will also start on Panipat–Safidon (41 km), Safidon–Jind (21.65 km), Saha Chowk–Panchkula-Yamunanagar (Ambala), Saha Chowk–Kalpi, and Tohana–Ratia stretches.
