CM inaugurates police equestrian meet
Gurugram: Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said the state government had implemented Sports Policy, 2015, in which gold medal winner in Olympics belonging to Haryana is given prize money of Rs 6 crore.The CM stated this after inaugurating the 38th All India Police Equestrian Championship and Mounted Police Duty Meet-2020 at the Police Complex in Bhondsi on Wednesday.As many as 623 equestrians and 279 horses from various states and paramilitary forces are participating in 31 types of events in this championship which will conclude on February 14.The CM said former captain of India hockey team Sandeep Singh was the new Sports Minister of the state under whom sports activities would get a boost.
