Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini today paid tribute to Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee on his Balidan Diwas. Speaking on the occasion, the CM said Mookerjee’s ideas, patriotism, and supreme sacrifice were a source of inspiration for every Indian.

Planting a sapling to give the message of environmental conservation, he said Mookerjee stood for the unity of the nation, adding that, “There cannot be two Prime Ministers, two flags, or two constitutions in one country.” Due to his tireless efforts, the 'permit system' implemented in J&K ended, said Saini.
