Chairing a meeting with senior officials at the Civil Secretariat on Sunday, the Chief Minister directed immediate action. “Our government stands with farmers in every situation,” said Saini, reaffirming the state's commitment to agricultural communities.

He acknowledged that sudden fires in fields over the past few days have caused significant distress. “The recent fire incidents in the state have caused damage to crops, livestock, and property, resulting in hardship for farmers,” he noted.

To expedite relief efforts, Saini has instructed all Deputy Commissioners to collect and submit detailed reports on fire-related damages. Affected farmers are encouraged to file compensation claims with their respective DC offices.

Additionally, Saini announced that farmers will receive assistance in the form of seeds and fertilisers for the next sowing season. “This will ensure they do not face any additional financial burden,” he assured.
