Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini visited Gandhinagar on Thursday to offer condolences following the sudden demise of former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani. He met the bereaved family and paid tribute to the veteran leader.

Remembering Rupani’s political legacy, CM Saini said, “He had a long political journey. He led a life of simplicity and was always dedicated to public service. We were in regular contact and used to meet often.”

“His death is not only a great loss to his family but also a deep shock to the people of Gujarat and the entire nation.”

Saini also expressed grief over the recent tragic plane crash in Ahmedabad, calling it a “deeply unfortunate incident beyond imagination.”

“I pay tribute to all those who lost their lives in this tragic event. May God give strength to the bereaved families and grant peace to the departed souls,” he said. Haryana BJP state president Mohan Lal Badoli accompanied the Chief Minister during the visit.
