Cabinet minister Vipul Goyal arrived in his place to attend the scheduled events.
Goyal inaugurated two public facilities -- the Agrawal Sewa Sadan (a community hall) and the Shivpuri cremation centre. Former Home Minister Gopal Kanda and BJP leader Gobind Kanda were also present. During the event, Goyal announced Rs 21 lakh grant for the Agrawal Sewa Sadan.
Sirsa city had prepared for the Chief Minister’s arrival with banners across the town and his name printed on the inauguration plaque. Gopal Kanda had personally invited the CM, but the plan changed at the last moment. Goyal said the Chief Minister could not come and had assigned him to attend the events on his behalf.
Gopal Kanda praised the efforts made to build the Agrawal Sewa Sadan and said Sanjeev Jain played a key role in completing the project. He also announced that an Arorvansh community centre would be developed soon.
