ABIC’s nodal officer and Dean of the College of Basic Sciences and Humanities, Dr Rajesh Gera, informed that the stalls would feature biodegradable cups and spoons made from wheat, maize and jaggery; millet-based biscuits; high-quality honey; Ganoderma mushroom capsules; and chemical-free soaps and shampoos. “Start-ups will also showcase multipurpose machines capable of extracting juice and pulp from various fruits and vegetables, and innovations that allow farmers to remotely operate tubewells and household lights through mobile phones,” he informed. Other features at the event include start-ups working on microgreens delivery for health benefits against diseases like cancer and diabetes, advanced winnowing machines to clean crop residues and a modern cultivator designed to ease agricultural work.

Deputy Commissioner Anish Yadav and Superintendent of Police Shashank Kumar Sawan inspected the venue and reviewed preparations for the visit of the Chief Minister on August 21.
