The chief guests for the event, Pradeep, a prominent pharmaceutical businessman, and social worker Anuj Agrawal encouraged the students to become self-reliant and to pursue the path of innovation. Pradeep stated that today, the youth of India have the potential to become job creators. Such incubation centres will prove to be milestones in guiding them towards self-reliance, he added.

A college spokesperson said SP Chauhan, founder and chairman, NavChetna Manch, Karnal, has made a contribution to the incubation centre by donating a high-quality printing machine. The machine is capable of custom printing on T-shirts and other materials, significantly boosting the centre’s production capabilities.

The services launched under the startup centre include customised printing services, personal branding and social media marketing, professional shoots and event management and website designing and digital advertisement management.

Rohit Dutt, principal of GMN College, said the startup centre will be operated under the college’s supervision, providing students not only with hands-on training but also a platform to deliver market-ready products and services.

A large number of students attended the event, explored the stalls and showed great interest in the centre’s offerings.
