College student run over by roadways bus in Yamunanagar, 5 others injured

The incident took place at the Partap Nagar bus stand when some students tried to board the bus which was on its way from Paonta Sahib to Delhi.
The injured students were rushed to nearby hospitals, where five are currently undergoing treatment.
The local administration is in the process of providing compensation to the families of the deceased and injured students in accordance with government policies.
Meanwhile, Transport Minister Anil Vij said an inquiry had been ordered and strict action would be taken against anyone found responsible for this.
Vij said senior officers of the transport department had been directed to thoroughly examine all possible causes of the accident.
He said action would be taken against those found guilty.
