Madaan on Thursday held a door-to-door campaign at a market and in nearby residential areas. He appealed to the traders and businessmen to vote for the BJP on October 5.

Madaan claimed that people were giving full support to him in the city and the BJP would form the government in the state for the third time.

After the public meetings, Panwar along with his daughter-in-law Samiksha Panwar and other leaders held a door-to-door campaign in the Kachey Quarter and other markets in the city to woo voters.

Panwar said the businessmen were not feeling safe under the BJP government. Traders and shopkeepers received threats for extortion of crores of rupees and firing incidents had scared them, he said.

Panwar assured the shopkeepers and businessmen that a secure and safe atmosphere would be provided to them after the formation of the Congress government.
