On the occasion of the 81st birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, a Bharat Ratna awardee, Congress leaders and workers gathered before his statue at Nirmal Kutia Chowk on Wednesday morning to pay floral tribute to him.
Party workers and leaders observed a two-minute silence in Gandhi’s memory.
