A meeting was held on Tuesday at the local Congress office to pay tributes to former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on her birth anniversary. During the event, a two-minute silence was observed and floral tributes were paid. Congress leaders remembered Indira Gandhi's invaluable contribution to the nation, emphasising her role in building a strong and progressive India through her determination, leadership, and vision. They called her an inspiration as India’s first woman Prime Minister.

Leaders present at the gathering included Jairaj Nehra, Nayab Singh Thiraj, Sanjay Chawaria, Sahiram Saharan, Bheem Saini, Aarav Grover, Chhotu Singh, Sangeet Kumar, Durgesh Saini, Hitesh Saini, Praveen Sharma, Om Prakash Sharma, and Kamal Kantiwal.
