Haryana Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Anil Vij today said that the Congress wanted to take the country backward, while the BJP wanted to take it forward.

Vij said, “There is a difference in way of our thinking. While the Congress wants to take the country backward, we want to take it forward. Congress’s complaint to the Election Commission was based on lies, which aligns with their nature. They blame EVMs when they lose elections, but do not blame these when they win.”

Meanwhile, the Labour Minister provided relief to hundreds of workers of a private factory after the management announced to clear the dues and bonus.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
