CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL ON ROAD POSES INCONVENIENCE
ON a road near Ghantaghar, Krishna Colony Chowk, and Devsar Chowk in Bhiwani, one can see pebbles and construction material scattered all over. It is a threat to two-wheelers and other vehicles and is causing inconvenience to them, as the sharp-edges of the stones has been puncturing tyres. Crushed stones on the road is making the surface slippery, thereby increasing the probablility of mishaps. I urge the district authorities to ensure the material is removed from the road. Ashok Bhardwaj, Bhiwani
Call for three capital cities
IN most states and Union Territories, people take pride in the fact that they have a lone capital city. What they fail to ignore is this leads to mounting pressure on resources, infrastructure etc on the lone capital cities. It’s time to decentralise and thus have an executive capital, a legislative capital and a judicial capital in separate cities. Punjab and Haryana governments must give a serious thought, as their capital city Chandigarh is bursting at the seams. SK Gupta, Panchkula
Broken road cries for urgent repairs
A road leading from Sector 69 to 53 is broken in the middle and it does not look nice. Owing to this, the tyre life of vehicles plying on the road is being reduced. No repairs have been made and for long, it has been causing inconvenience to the commuters. The authorities concerned should be asked to do the needful at the earliest. Subhash C Taneja, Gurugram

Also, many people can pick from the resolutions listed below since we can do a lot better when it comes to punctuality, keeping a pleasant countenance while walking down the street, showing gratitude to the office boys, and working sincerely when it comes to work at hand.
