A head constable of the Haryana Police reportedly committed suicide by shooting himself at his rented accommodation near Sukhpura chowk here on Monday night.

The deceased has been identified as Satyendra Malik of Sonepat district.He was deputed at the traffic wing in Rohtak. Domestic feud is stated to be the reason behind this extreme step.

The incident came to the fore late in the night when the police found Satyender dead in a room of the house on getting the information about the firing. The police then sent the body to the PGIMS for post-mortem. — TNS
