Speaking at the event, DSP Adarshdeep said, “Blood donation is one of the greatest acts of humanity and our police personnel are not just dedicated to their duties but are also actively involved in social service.” He added that the Sirsa Police were participating wholeheartedly in various social initiatives under Sewa Pakhwada.”

Organised in collaboration with the District Civil Hospital, Sirsa, the camps saw 41 people donate blood at Police Lines and 115 at Nathusari Chopta. In total, 372 police personnel across the district have voluntarily donated blood since the beginning of the Sewa Pakhwada drive, setting what officials described as “a strong example of humanitarian service.” Members of the public and NGOs also joined the effort, reflecting strong community support for the cause.

Superintendent of Police Dr Mayank Gupta congratulated the Sirsa Police for their efforts, calling the initiative “a step that strengthens the positive image of the police in society.” He added, “Such camps are not only acts of public service but also help save the lives of patients in need.”
