Participating in a discussion on President’s address in the Budget Session, Ambala Congress MP Varun Chaudhary said by 2047 India would be a debt-ridden country and not a ‘developed country’, as being promised by the government. He took a dig at the nomenclature being used to describe growth, saying in 2014, the slogan was ‘Shresth Bharat’; in 2019, ‘Naya Bharat’; and in 2024, ‘Viksit Bharat’. “There is no road map for ‘Viksit Bharat’.
