In a complaint, Satbir Singh, GM of M/S Lark Engineering India Private Limited, Yamunanagar, told the police that in 2011, Avtar Singh and Jaswant Singh collaborated with Jaspreet Singh, Deepak Kumar and Anil Chhepa to steal important data and confidential information of his company, including drawings, design and sales data, and started manufacturing machines based on the stolen designs at a firm in Yamunanagar.

After getting feedback from its customers that the aforementioned ex-employees and others were supplying the machinery at lower price than Lark, the firm got a case registered against the accused.
