Criminal with Rs25K reward held

Sonepat, June 30
The Special Task Force (STF) arrested a wanted criminal carrying a reward of Rs 25,000. The accused identified as Karamvir of Tihad Malik in the district had been wanted in a murder case registered at Baroda police station in 2012.
STF In-charge Inspector Satish Deswal said the accused along with his two associates Sandeep and Rakhi had murdered Vedpal of Mirjapur Kheri because Karamir had an illicit relationship with the wife deceased.
The Baroda police had booked the accused under the Arms Act and who was declared a PO in 2012 by the court.
Another accused Sandeep had been arrested by the police and he had been convicted and sentenced to 12 years of imprisonment and confined in Rohtak jail.
The Sonepat police had announced a reward of Rs 25,000 on his arrest. He has been produced in a court and the court has sent him to judicial custody.
