The JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, here has again extended the last date for online admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme to May 30 due to the lockdown imposed in the wake of Covid pandemic. Earlier, the last date was extended up to April 30. The university had decided to conduct state-level entrance test for admission to its MBA course for the academic session 2020-21. “The entrance exam will now be conducted after the normalisation of present situation,” said a spokesperson of the university.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.
