Haryana Cooperation Minister, Dr Banwari Lal, said the state government had extended the date for the repayment of loan given to farmers by the registrar of cooperative societies through primary agricultural cooperatives.

He said the date of the repayment of rabi crop, which was to be made between September 1, 2020, and February 28, 2021, and which was to be paid on or before June 30, 2021, had been extended to August 31, 2021.

The Cooperation Minister said, the advance date of kharif crop 2021, which was from March 1 to August 31 had been extended to September 30. He said with this announcement, about 3.5 lakh farmers of the state were likely to get interest relief of about Rs 35 crore.
