During the inspection, the DC instructed officials of the Irrigation Department to ensure that all flood protection measures are completed ahead of the monsoon.
He also directed the officials to make adequate arrangements for the drainage of water in villages that are typically affected by flooding during the rainy season, ensuring readiness before the rains begin.

Superintending Engineer of the Irrigation Department, RS Mittal, stated that the supply of stones to the affected sites had been completed and that all flood protection work was currently in progress.
Also present during the inspection were CEO Zila Parishad Virender Singh Dhul, District Revenue Officer Tarun Sahota, SDM Chhachhrauli Rohit Kumar, Executive Engineer Vinod Kumar, District Information and Public Relations Officer Dr Manoj Kumar, Tehsildar Sudesh Mehra, Block Development and Panchayat Officer Kartik Chauhan and officials Ramphal, Manoj Kumar and Abdul Mannan.
