Deenbandhu varsity teachers’ body meets minister to implement NEP properly

A delegation of Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University Teachers Association (DCRUTA), Murthal, on Sunday met the Haryana Cooperation, Tourism, and Jail Minister Dr Arvind Sharma on the university premises, highlighting various issues. Sharma was here at the university to address a conference on New Education Policy.

A delegation led by Ajay Kumar, president, DCRUTA, demanded the minister to implement NEP in a proper way at the university. They alleged that NEP was not properly implemented in the university. “Concerns of different stakeholders were not addressed,” he alleged. He also raised the issue that NEP implemented at the university was not approved by the constitutional body. They also highlighted various financial irregularities and demanded an inquiry.

Among the major demands, the suspension of research work due to absence of a software namely, ‘Turnitin’ was also raised by the teachers’ association.
