Former Haryana Minister Bachan Singh Arya has quit the BJP after the party fielded Narnaund MLA and JJP turncoat Ram Kumar Gautam from Safidon Assembly constituency in Jind district.

Arya has been a two-time MLA from Safidon. He won on the Congress ticket in 1991 and later won as an Independent in 2005. He had also contested as BJP candidate in 2019. He announced his resignation on social media apparently in protest against the denial of ticket.
