Dera head Ram Rahim returns to Rohtak jail
Sirsa-based Dera Sacha Sauda chief and rape and murder convict Gurmeet Ram Rahim returned to Sunaria jail in Rohtak district today after the completion of his 21-day furlough.
The dera head returned to Sunaria jail under tight security this evening.
He is undergoing 20-year imprisonment in connection with the rape of two of his disciples. Later, he was also convicted for the murder of journalist Ram Chander Chhatrapati. He stayed at Barnawa ashram in Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh during his 21-day furlough.
It was for the 10th time that the dera chief was released from the jail on furlough/parole ever since he was awarded the jail term by a special CBI court in August 2017.
