Additional Deputy Commissioner Naveen Ahuja directed officials to ensure that no laxity is permitted in the ongoing development works under D-Plan schemes. He said all projects approved by the District Development and Monitoring Committee must be completed on time, and any compromise on quality would not be tolerated.

Chairing a review meeting of the D-Plan schemes at the district secretariat in Yamunanagar, he examined in detail the progress of development works proposed for 2025–26. He stated that the government had released Rs 19 crore to Yamunanagar district under D-Plan schemes this year, under which 181 development works have been approved.

These projects are being implemented by the Municipal Corporation, Panchayati Raj Department, Public Health Engineering Department, Education Department and several other agencies. Officials from all departments presented their progress reports during the meeting.

Ahuja instructed departments to expedite work on projects where progress was slow and to ensure strict adherence to timelines. He emphasised the importance of inter-departmental coordination, noting that delays caused by pending approvals or administrative gaps would not be accepted. He further directed that regular field inspections be conducted to assess the quality of work on the ground.

Planning Officer Sanjay Chaudhary, Executive Engineer (Panchayati Raj) Love Kumar, Assistant Planning Officer Sameer Mehdiratta and other officials were present at the meeting.
