Digvijay slams Punjab CM over water dispute
Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) leader Digvijay Singh Chautala criticised Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann over water dispute between Punjab and Haryana. He said Mann had hurt the country’s constitutional values and unity. Chautala warned that if both states fought over water, national unity would be at risk. He claimed that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was making such statements out of frustration after its loss in Delhi.
In a media statement on Friday, Chautala lauded the Army amid ongoing tensions with Pakistan, calling their bravery and sacrifices unforgettable. He said the nation’s safety depended on the armed forces, stating, “Without them, the country wouldn’’t be secure,” and added that the entire nation had deep respect for them
