Displeasure note issued to revenue officer

The Additional Principal Secretary to CM, Saket Kumar, has ordered the issuance of a displeasure note to a senior revenue officer for negligence in resolving complaints received on Jan Samvad portal, CM Window and Social Media Grievances Tracker (SMGT). The Nodal Officer of SMGT (Revenue Department) has also been asked to submit an explanation for negligence in resolving pending complaints.

During a review of the department, it was found that a large number of complaints have been pending at the headquarters and district level.

A clarification has been sought at the level of the Chief Engineer of the Irrigation and Water Resources Department regarding 745 cases pending on the portal. The officers of the Ambala and Yamunanagar circle of Irrigation Department have been directed to ensure timely resolution of complaints.

Kumar was chairing a review meeting on CM Window, Jan Samvad and SMGT last evening.
