District Bar Association members donate blood in Jagadhri

Members of the District Bar Association, Jagadhri, donated blood at a camp on Friday. The camp was organised at the auditorium of the Jagadhri Bar Association.

Hundred units of blood was collected at the camp. Deputy Commissioner Parth Gupta inaugurated the blood donation camp.

Speaking on the occasion, he appealed to all lawyers and other people of the district to donate blood. He said at the time of an accident, blood was a very much needed to save victims lives. So it was the duty of all to donate blood and inspire others to do this noble act, he said.

“The blood we donate can save lives of many people,” he said. He honoured all blood donors by giving them badges. On the occasion, members of the Bar Association told the Deputy Commissioner that CCTV cameras must be installed at all chowks of twin cities of Yamunanagar and Jagadhri to improve the traffic management.

Giving an assurance to bar members, Gupta said soon CCTV cameras would be installed at all chowks to control the traffic in the twin cities and prevent accidents. He said this would also help issue challans to those people who violated traffic rules.

“With the help of CCTV cameras, traffic rules violators will be issued online challans. Besides, resident will get relief from frequent traffic snarls,” said Gupta.

District Bar Association president Vikrant Chauhan, Ran Singh Chauhan, Ranbir Singh, Vishal Aggarwal, Ram Kumar Radauri, Brijesh Pratap Singh, Sonia Rohila, DIPR Dr Manoj Kumar and other members were present at the camp.
