Sharma said due to strict social fabric, many obstacles were likely while getting different abled people married. But we urge families to keep a flexible mindset in the interest of the son or daughter so that they could easily get married.

Aastha Sanstha and Jaipur's Divyang Utthan Foundation have taken the initiative to marry the disabled men and women by getting them married for the first time in the state. They are organising a state-level divyang matrimonial introduction conference. Divyang Utthan Foundation CEO Mahesh Rizwani said the foundation had earlier organised matrimonial introduction of disabled men and women at three places -- Delhi, Indore and Rajasthan. Rizwani said in the changing social environment, many obstacles were coming in the marriages of healthy men and women. “We request the society to adopt a positive attitude towards differently abled people and cooperate in bringing them into the mainstream. He said the introduction conference would prove to be a boon for marriage aspirants and requested the parents of divyang not to get stuck in the barriers of caste and gotra and work towards uplifting them.
