Faridabad, May 24

The police have registered a case of sexual harassment against a doctor at a private hospital here. No arrest has been made so far.

The move comes two days after an order issued by the National Commission for Women (NCW). The NCW had taken cognisance of a tweet by a woman staffer of the hospital.

A police spokesperson said a case had been registered and the matter was under investigation.

The NCW, in its order on Friday, asked the director of the firm running the hospital, to report whether an internal committee was inquiring the complaint.

Renu Bhatia, State Commission for Women member, visited the hospital yesterday and met the complainant to record her statement.
