Doctors and students of Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College (KCGMC) organised a blood donation camp to pay tributes to Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans, who were martyred in the terrorist attack at Pulwama in 2019.

The camp was set up in a bid to address the shortage of blood in hospitals, the students said.

More than 70 enthusiasts donated their blood.

Informative sessions were conducted during the camp to emphasise the importance of everyone’s contribution in saving lives through blood donation. “We received a good response from the donours,” said Rohit, a medical student.

“The generous contributions from our donors will undoubtedly make a difference in the lives of those in need,” he added.

The organisers said it was a successful camp, highlighting the power of collective action in addressing crucial healthcare needs.
