Dr Aseem Miglani, a professor in the Department of Mathematics at Chaudhary Devi Lal University (CDLU), Sirsa, has been appointed as Vice-Chancellor of Indira Gandhi University (IGU), Meerpur. He has also previously served as the Registrar at CDLU.

Dr Miglani's tenure as Vice-Chancellor will be for a period of three years or until he attains the age of 68, whichever comes earlier. He assumed charge of his new role at IGU on Friday.
