The police have started a drive to identify migrants from Bangladesh and other states working at the stone crushers in Bhiwani and Charkhi Dadri districts. There are about 500 crushers in the mining zones of Dadam, Khanak and Dadri regions.
Bhiwani SP Manbir Singh informed that it was a routine exercise undertaken by the police to check the availability of workers at the crushers and to collect data. He said it was not a specific drive.
