Balbir had been addicted to alcohol and drugs for long and thiscreated tension at home. On Monday, after dinner, Balbir went to bed as usual. Later, he used a rope to hang himself from the ceiling fan in his room. When he did not wake up the next morning, the family members went to check and found him dead. The Ding police handed over the body to the family after postmortemon Tuesday.
