Kurukshetra: Activists of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (Charuni) burnt effigies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, businessmen Ambani and Adani to mark their protest against the three farm laws in Shahabad on Saturday. They gathered at Shaheed Udham Singh Chowk, took out a protest march and reached the SDM’s office to mark their protest. The farmers said a few people had captured the whole economy. “We will continue to protest till the three black laws are not withdrawn,” one of the protesters said.
