In a firm move to clear city roads, the Municipal Committee of Bhuna of Fatehabad launched an anti-encroachment drive on Monday, targeting illegal structures across key areas like Fatehabad Road, Kulan Road, Tohana Road, Old Bazaar, and New Bazaar. Before the operation, shopkeepers were issued notices and given verbal warnings. As a result, most voluntarily removed iron sheds, banners and other materials placed outside their shops. However, a few resisted, citing connections with political figures. Their encroaching items were seized on the spot. The initiative, aimed at improving traffic flow and ensuring public convenience.
