Encroachments on public spaces by street vendors and local residents have become quite common in Narwana. The Model Town area is the worst affected, with the illegal occupation of Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhiakaran’s (HSVP) plots R-79 to R-82. Walls have also been illegally erected on public passages. The local administration and HSVP should look into the matter and take action against the violators.

Vacant plots turn into waste-dumping spots

Vacant plots in Sectors 9 and 21 of Ambala City have turned into waste dumping sites. The accumulation of water due to clogged drains has made these sites a breeding ground for mosquitoes. The problem remains unresolved, adding to the plot owners’ financial burden. HSVP and Municipal Corporation officials should take cognisance of the problem and ensure proper waste collection and disposal in the city.

Traffic chaos near schools IN faridabad

Regular traffic snarls on roads near schools in residential areas of Faridabad have become a major cause for concern for residents and commuters here. Commuters have to struggle with heavy road congestion during school opening and closing hours due to the rush of schoolbuses and vans. Why are traffic officials not deployed at these areas? The Traffic Police Department must deploy officials to regulate vehicular movement in areas prone to congestion.

Vishnu Goel, Faridabad
