End my 30-year exile with votes: Faridabad Congress candidate
Attempting to strike an emotional chord with residents, Lakhan Singla, Congress candidate from Faridabad Assembly constituency, has appealed to voters to end his 30-year exile in the political field.
Addressing a series of meetings in the constituency on Saturday, Singla said that this was the time when he needed their blessings as he had been serving them with dedication for 30 years and wished to represent them on a bigger platform like state Assembly.
Singla had lost the last Assembly election from this seat by a margin of 21,000 votes to BJP candidate Narender Gupta. In 2014, Singla, who was fielded as Congress candidate from Ballabgarh segment, had lost to Mool Chand Sharma of the BJP.
