He pointed out that of 6,429 complaints received at Samadhan Camps in the district, 5,560 complaints were settled. He said the process of settlement of 139 complaints was underway. He said 243 complaints had been cancelled.

Narendra Kumar was giving directions to officials after reviewing the pending complaints of Samadhan Camps.

He said officials should ensure settlement of pending complaints of Samadhan Camps as soon as possible and deal with re-opened complaints carefully.

“A list of pending complaints is being made available to all departments by the complaint branch. Officials should come to Samadhan Camp and review meeting with this list,” the ADC maintained. He pointed out that except for a few departments, the number of pending complaints of other departments was in single digits.

Acknowledging that the pace of settlement of complaints was good in the district, Kumar said, “This pace of settlement of complaints should be maintained. Older complaints should be settled on priority basis.”

“The state Samadhan Cell reviews pending as well as settled complaints every Friday. Officials of the cell interact with complainants to find out whether their complaint has actually been settled as per their satisfaction,” he said.

Municipal Corporation Joint Commissioner Bhupendra Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police Ravi Khundia, UHBVN Executive Engineer Gagan Pandey, District Social Welfare Officer Mahabir Godara, District Welfare Officer Renu Sisodia, District Red Cross Society Secretary Shyam Sunder and District Family Welfare Officer Suresh Bhardwaj were present at the review meeting.

Samadhan Camps are being organised at the district headquarters and sub-divisional headquarters from 10 am to 12 noon on every Monday and Thursday.
