Haryana Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Shyam Singh Rana today reviewed ongoing paddy procurement and lifting process at the Saraswati Nagar grain market in Yamunanagar district.

He directed the officials of the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, HAFED and other procurement agencies to ensure that farmers do not have to face any inconvenience in selling their produce.

“The government will procure every single grain of paddy from farmers at the Minimum Support Price (MSP),” Rana said.

He emphasised that the state government was fully committed to safeguarding farmers’ interests and ensuring smooth procurement and lifting operations across all grain markets in Haryana.

Rana said he was personally visiting grain markets across the state to monitor the pace of procurement and lifting.
