Leaders from across political parties have condoled the demise of Mahesh Nagar (55), younger brother of former Congress MLA Lalit Nagar, who passed away last night after battling cancer.

Union Minister Krishan Pal Gurjar, Congress MP Deepender Singh Hooda, HPCC president Udai Bhan, Haryana Ministers Vipul Goel and Rajesh Nagar were among those who attended the cremation or expressed condolences.

Mahesh Nagar, a resident of Buapur village, was known for his close association with Robert Vadra, who visited him weeks ago to check on his health. He had been undergoing lung cancer treatment at Medanta Hospital, Gurugram, for several months. He is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter.

Several prominent leaders, including former minister Mool Chand Sharma, BJP MLA Satish Fagna, Congress MLAs Raghubir Singh Tewatia and Aftab Ahmed, and ex-MLAs Dharam Singh Chhokar, Satbir Singh Gurjar, Neeraj Sharma and Nagendra Bhadana also expressed grief.

Other political and social figures, such as Gajraj Singh Nagar, Chander Bhatia, Jagbir Singh Nagar, Lakhan Singla, Vijay Pratap Singh, Yashpal Nagar, and JP Nagar, visited Lalit Nagar’s residence to offer condolences.
