Former Deputy Chief Minister and senior JJP leader Dushyant Chautala has expressed strong surprise over the BJP releasing a social media poster quoting Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.

In the poster, the CM is quoted as saying: “Gundagardi chhod do ya Haryana chhod do” (“Leave hooliganism or leave Haryana”).

Chautala said the CM had made this “filmy” statement months ago in Bahadurgarh too, in the context of threats received by a sweet shop owner in Gohana.

He said, under the BJP government, the law and order situation in the state had been consistently worsening, and the poor conditions were no longer hidden from the public. Chautala added that incidents of robbery, ransom, and daylight murders had become a routine affair in the state.
