The visit turned into a day of rich learning and inspiration for innovators and startups working under AIC IIT-Delhi. Murthi toured the incubation facility, including the common research infrastructure of IIT-Delhi available at the campus, and interacted with all incubated startups and their teams.
Murthi also conducted a masterclass for young entrepreneurs, drawing from his four decades of experience with India’s space programme. Speaking to the startups, Murthi emphasised the importance of effective project management, building strong teams, and problem-solving approaches. His insights offered founders a deeper perspective on how to scale ideas into impactful ventures.
Welcoming Murthi to the centre, AIC IIT-Delhi CEO Alok Pandey said, “It is a privilege to have Murthi here with us. His vision and experience provide invaluable guidance as we work towards strengthening the startup ecosystem in Haryana. Today’s interaction has opened new directions for how we can support space-tech and deep-tech entrepreneurs more effectively.”
The session concluded with a forward-looking discussion between Murthi and the AIC IIT-Delhi team, including Dr Himanshu Agrawal, Manager Incubation, and Vishal, Tech Lead, on shaping future initiatives for startups and student innovators in the region.
AIC IIT-Delhi reaffirmed that its focus remains on empowering young entrepreneurs in Haryana with access to mentoring, resources and collaborative opportunities, aligning with its vision of building a stronger innovation and entrepreneurship culture.
