An ex-serviceman was shot by unidentified assailants in Hansi last night. The victim was identified as Rituraj Yadav (35). He was in his shop here when assailants opened fire at him.

The police have said the reason for murder has not been ascertained.

He was rushed to hospital where he was declared dead. The victim had served as a Special Police Officer (SPO) with the police after he had retired from the Army. — TNS
