In this, the second year students presented various colourful programmes for their senior classmates. Executive Principal of the college, Dr Savita Bhagat asked the students to keep moving forward with patience in good and bad times and wished them all the best for their bright future and upcoming examinations. In this ceremony, Akash was crowned Mr BBA, Mayank Mr Handsome, Anurag Mr Smiley, Divyansh Mr Well dressed, Sunny Mr Allrounder and Nikita Miss BBA, Shruti Miss Beautiful, Harshita Miss smiley, Shreya Mishra Well dressed, Komal was adjudged all rounder.
Lifetime achievement award
Karnal: JC Dagar, former ADG in ICAR and emeritus scientist in CSSRI, Karnal, has been awarded with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Indian Society of Agroforestry during the celebration of the foundation day of the society held in Jhansi in UP. He was awarded for his continuous efforts in the field of agroforestry. He has published more than 250 research articles in international and national peer-reviewed journals, proceedings of seminars and symposia, chapters in books and written/edited more than 20 books, many published by international publishers.
Webinar at Agricultural University
Hisar: The Vice-Chancellor of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Prof BR Kamboj, while speaking as the chief guest at a webinar on the role of the supply chain of bio-transformation technologies in sustainable crop residue management, said, “Agricultural residues can prove to be a better option to supply the energy demand of the country. With their proper management, green energy will be obtained and the problem of environmental pollution will also be reduced.” The department of renewable and bio-energy engineering of the HAU and the University of British Columbia, Canada, jointly organised the webinar.
