Following a call by the Sanyukta Kisan Morcha (non-political) and Kisan-Mazdoor Morcha, scores of farmers in Israna of Panipat district and in Kharkhoda of Sonepat district took out a tractor march in support of Farmers’ Movement 2.0.

The farmers under the banner of the Bharatiya Kisan Naujwan Union staged a protest for over two hours on a lane of the Dahar Toll plaza on the Panipat-Rohtak highway. The farmer leaders raised slogans against the Union Government and said the movement would be continued till the demands were not fulfilled. Shamsher Singh Punia, district president and Sandeep Rathi Ganjbar led the tractor march.

Manoj Jaglan, state spokesperson, while addressing the gathering said the farmers were called for talks by the government on February 14 in Chandigarh. He further said that the farmer leaders would strongly put up their demand charter before the government. He further said the farmers would continue their movement untill their demands were not fulfilled.

Soorjbhan Rawal, Ravinder Babbail. Deshraj Jatal, Dalbir Badoli and other farmers participated in the protest.

At Kharkhoda in Sonepat, the farmers took out a tractor march in support of the farmers' movement. The protesting farmers said the movement for MSP was not limited to Punjab only but was a movement of farmers across the country. The protesting farmers appealed the Union Government to form a law on MSP guarantee.

The farmer leaders also warned that if the farmers’ demands were not fulfilled the movement would be paced up. They said the government was planning to hand over all business of agricultural products’ in the hands of the corporate sector but, this conspiracy wouldn’t be successful.

In Sonepat city, the farmers also took out a peaceful tractor march. The tractor march began from Mehlana Road, Sector 23, and ended at the DC office via Kakroi Chowk, Bus stand, Geeta Bhawan and Purkhas stand.

The members of All India Kisan Khet Mazdoor Sangathan (AIKKMS), All India Kisan Sabha (AIKS), Bharatiya Kisan panchayat, Kisan Mazdoor Panchayat , BKU and other organisations participated in the tractor march.
