A woman was allegedly thrashed by her husband and in-laws at a village in the Farrukhnagar area. She alleged that her husband also fed her some poisonous substance forcefully yesterday. An FIR was registered at the Farrukhnagar police station.

The complaint is a resident of Khawaspur village and mother of two children. She said she got married Yogesh seven years ago. After the marriage, her husband and in-laws harassed her over dowry demands.
