Bhagat Singh Nambardar and Somveer from Kanheri village said the villagers had resolved to send essential items to support affected families. The relief effort is being carried out using two tractor-trolleys, which would travel to flood-hit areas in Punjab. Once there, the team plans to speak directly with locals to understand their immediate needs and distribute the collected supplies accordingly.

The initiative has seen widespread support across all segments of the community. Residents from all 36 communities of the village have come together, contributing time, effort and resources to the cause.

The meeting was marked by participation, including villagers such as Bhagat Singh and Nambardar, Somveer Kanheri, among others.
